4x10G DWDM Transponder for Metro Optical Networks

This product is a 4*10G CWDM and DWDM Transponder for metro optical networks offering 4 bidirectional or 8 unidirectional 1.25~11.3G services at the wavelength conversion & 3R regeneration level. It includes 8 SFP+ ports, optional CWDM and DWDM line side fronts, fully monitoring capabilities and is designed for OTNS8600 chassis in metro environments.

The carrier grade 4x10G CWDM/DWDM transponder designed for metro optical networks. It provides multi rate services (switched and continuous) supporting 1.25G to 11.3G, thereby maximizing the utilization of existing fiber resources through wavelength conversion and 3R relay regeneration. Adapting 8 SFP+ plug-in ports and various CWDM and DWDM line side, the device is compatible with OTNS8600 series chassis, providing stability of performance, low power consumption and overall monitoring for stable operation of metro network.


Multi Service Access and Interface Design

8 pluggable SFP+ optical ports for flexible service access

Supports 4 bidirectional or 8 unidirectional 1.25G~11.3G services

Compatible with GE 10GE FC STM CPRI and other metro service types

Reliable 3R Regeneration and Protection Functions

3R (Re-Amplification Re-Shaping Re-Timing) regeneration for all supported services

Line side and client side loopback testing for quick fault localization

Automatic laser switching for maintenance safety


These functions ensure stable signal transmission over long distances, offer protection from equipment damage during maintenance work, and allow for proactive network health management.

The transponder provides the following real-time monitoring capabilities for end-to-end network visibility:


• Real-time monitoring of optical module temperature current voltage and optical power

• Full compatibility with OTNS8600 series network management systems
