2U Rack Mount DWDM Mux Demux System Description rack mount DWDM mux demux system is used in the different wavelength channels of optical fiber multiplexing and wavelength division, providing a solution for future-scalable passive optical networks. It offers network operators the ability to greatly enhance fiber transmission capacity while optimizing space in rack-mounted DWDM Mux Demux systems through the stacking of multiple modules within a high-capacity platform.


In comparison with compact chassis solutions, a standard 19-inch 2U rack-mount design allows for far more in the way of both module density and deployment flexibility. It is primarily used in data center interconnect (DCI), metro optical transport networks, enterprise and telecom backbone fiber infrastructure where the need for high-capacity reliable transmission exists.

The 2U DWDM chassis is designed for high density optical deployments yet also allows for easy installation and access to maintenance.


The platform's modular architecture is compatible with pluggable DWDM Mux Demux modules, allowing for various channel configurations as needed including 4CH, 8CH, 16CH, 40CH and also supports up to a massive 96-channel DWDM system. Such a scalable structure enables network operators to increase optical capacity based on the ever-growing bandwidth demand.
